Your washing robot for aviary systems
The Opti Cleaner is an automated washing robot adapted for aviary systems. Based on more than 25 years of proven wash robot technology, it is built for demanding livestock environments and helps reduce manual labour, improve washing efficiency, and support higher biosecurity standards.
Since layer and rearing houses vary in layout and design, the Opti Cleaner can be adapted to many houses where the conditions allow robotic washing.
Moving along a wall or aviary system, it can wash the ceiling, floors, outer walls, and the aviary system itself. The robot can wash on both sides of the aisle, reach from the lower parts of the system to the upper tiers, and follow programmed washing tasks from start to finish.
The Opti Cleaner is equipped with specially designed side wheels that can be adjusted in height. These wheels allow the robot to take support from the aviary system and/or walls to maintain a straight path along the aisle.
Joystick programming makes it easy to create wash patterns tailored to your house and washing needs, covering key areas such as the aviary system, ceiling, floors, and walls.
The Opti Cleaner uses a rotor nozzle that delivers a wide and effective spray pattern with strong impact against dirt. This allows the robot to wash large areas efficiently and provides a reliable washing process while only using 17 l/min.
A modern way to increase the farm productivity.
The Opti Cleaner is a modified version of our EVO Cleaner, a proven washing robot originally developed for demanding pig farm environments. By modifying its side wheels, the Opti Cleaner can follow aviary systems and/or walls, performing programmed wash patterns in a consistent and repeatable way. This helps reduce the need for manual high-pressure washing and supports a more efficient washing process.
The arm can also be modified depending on the interior layout and washing requirements.
The Opti Cleaner requires a solid wall or suitable interior structure along the aisle that the adjustable side wheels can press against. The wheels are adjusted so the robot continuously steers toward one side, allowing it to stay close to the wall or structure to maintain a straight path.
An external high-pressure washer is also required.
The required water pressure is 180–220 bar and the required water flow is 16-18 liters per minute. The robot is equipped with a 100 m high-pressure hose.
The Opti Cleaner is powered by 2 x 12 V batteries and can wash for up to 30 hours on a full charge.
The main benefits are more consistent washing results, reduced dependence on manual labor and a washing process that is easier to plan. By reducing the need for people to be present inside the production area during washing, the Opti Cleaner can also support improved biosecurity and help lower the risk of introducing infections into the house.
