Your washing robot for aviary systems
Developed in close collaboration with Big Dutchman, this washing robot is designed to meet the specific washing challenges found in modern aviary systems. With flexible movement and precise positioning the robot helps making the washing more consistent, efficient and less dependant on manual washing.
The product is sold by Envirologic in the Nordic market under the name Flexi Cleaner.
Globally, it is sold by Big Dutchman under the name Sharky 430.
The Flexi Cleaner is a fully automated washing robot specifically developed for washing aviary systems.
No human presence is needed while the Flexi Cleaner carries out the washing. When finished, it will notify you by sending a text message.
The robot’s radar sensors reading the posts of the aviary system. The sensors enable exact positioning, allowing the robot to run along the aviary system, in a straight path, to the end of the room.
The Flexi Cleaner’s flexible and precise robotic arm makes it possible to wash everything from drinkers and feed troughs to floors, walls and ceiling. The vertical lift enables the robot to wash the top of the aviary system at 4,3 m.
Manual washing of aviary systems are physically demanding, and maintaining consistent washing quality can be challenging. By automating the washing process, the Flexi Cleaner follows the programmed wash patterns with repeated precision, helping you achieve a more even and consistent result throughout the entire wash.
Every layer house can be different. On installation day, the Flexi Cleaner’s wash programs are programmed and adapted to your specific interior and washing needs. Once the programs have been created, they can be repeated throughout the aviary system. If other houses have an identical layout, the same programs can also be reused.
The Flexi Cleaner reduces the need of manual washing and helps making the washing process easier to plan, repeat and control. By lowering the dependency on staff or external contractors, it can help reduce washing costs while also supporting improved biosecurity through less human presence in the production area.
The Flexi Cleaner is an automated washing robot developed for aviary systems. It is designed to reduce the need for manual high-pressure washing by following programmed wash patterns with consistent, repeatable precision.
The Flexi Cleaner uses radar sensors on the right-hand side of the robot to measure the distance to the posts of the aviary system. Together with the differential wheel drive, this allows the robot to make side adjustments and maintain a straight path in the aisle during washing.
Yes. The Flexi Cleaner connects to an external pressure washer. The required water pressure is 180–220 bar, and the required water flow is 16–18 liters per minute. The robot is equipped with a 130 m high-pressure hose.
The Flexi Cleaner is powered by 4 x 12 V batteries and can wash for up to 30 hours on a full charge.
The main benefits are more consistent washing results, reduced dependence on manual labor and a washing process that is easier to plan. By reducing the need for people to be present inside the production area during washing, the Flexi Cleaner can also support improved biosecurity and help lower the risk of introducing infections into the house.
